May Is Here—And It’s a Full One
Does anyone else feel like May sneaks up and then suddenly everything is happening at once? The calendar is packed—Cinco de Mayo, Mother’s Day, Teacher Appreciation Week, Graduations and moving college kids home.... And in between all the events, you’re also starting to daydream about slower days, summer trip possabilities, sleeping in (just a little) and long afternoons with nowhere to be.
There’s something about May that feels like the exhale before summer. It’s celebratory, full of movement and life, but also quietly transitional. You’re not quite in vacation mode, but oh so close. Close enough to start letting go of the rush a bit and soaking in the moments that matter.
May is also a month to say Thank You to the moms, the teachers, the everyday magic-makers who keep things running and rarely ask for credit. We’ve stocked some meaningful gifts—thoughtful things that say you matter, without needing a big production. (If you're looking for a little something for the incredible educators in your life, we’ve got you.)
So yes, May is full. But it’s also rich with chances to pause and connect. To raise a glass on Cinco de Mayo, to give thanks on Mother’s Day, to celebrate student's accomplishments and to write the thank-you card you’ve been meaning to send.
As we look toward summer, let’s not rush through this month. Let’s live in it. Celebrate in it. Reflect in it.
Here’s to May—full of heart, full of gratitude, and full of life.
